"Went for a quick ski trip with the family and this place was perfect. Parked the car in the garage and didn’t need it until we left. Walked to lodge, lifts and snowtubing. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tubs as well. Very clean and everything you need for fun time. "

"Everything was wonderful. This was my second time at the Appalachian. For this particular room I'd just suggest a window covering over the window/door to patio. It gets quite bright if someone is trying to sleep on the sofa or for watching tv during the day. "

"The room was nice, updated and clean. The location is so close to the ski lift you can literally Ski in and out of the room. The beds could be a little softer but are adequate. They are doing work in the hallways of the building but it didn't disturb us. The pool is also right outside the room. The hallways smelled like weed for our entire stay but it didn't get into our room and this is not the owners fault at all. "Checkin process was easy but the gate watcher was notified of us originally so I had to show proof at the gate. Otherwise great stay. Some concerns were the walls were thin and we could hear people upstairs who were exceptionally loud at the time. Additionally, the space heaters for each room would trick the breaker. Insulation and rockwool would fix both these problems."

"This was my family’s first Vrbo experience and we couldn’t be more happy with the property! The owner, Henry, was very quick to respond when we needed a little guidance on to check in and also made sure to check in with me later on to see if we settled in ok. The property was super cute and quaint for our snowboarding trip. We cannot wait to come back again! "
