"I honestly wish we could have stayed here longer!
From the outside, this place is very unassuming. The area around it has mostly older buildings. But once you pull into the gates, it's clear why this is a highly rated hotel. Complete with welcome drinks, a luxurious pool, and a very attentive staff, this hotel was the perfect oasis before a rugged stay in the Amazon.
There are quite a few dining options in Lago Agrio, but you could also relax and enjoy the on-site restaurant. The room was probably the nicest we had during our 3-week vacation. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. "
