Best of all, the proprietor was very friendly and kind, had great tips about what to visit and how to get around town. "My partner and I had an amazing stay at Kavil House. The rooms were very clean and big enough to feel comfortable. I did not have a cell phone and my airline lost my luggage. The staff was extremely helpful and diligent in personally reaching out to the airport to keep my updated on the status of my bag. The owners are so friendly. Located on a quiet, safe alleyway in the center of town. I would recommend this stay to anyone."

Quiet, but really close to the energy of Chiang Mai. Many good choices for massages. All in easy walking distance. Easy for tours to pick us up. "When I stayed the power kept shutting off in my room after an hour of having the lights and a/c on. They moved me to another room next door after I reported the power shut off, but same exact thing happened on the other room. I went to front desk and no one was available for reception. What a terrible night!"
