"We stayed here for a big family birthday long weekend celebration. The house was immaculately finished and really well equipped. We spent a long time looking for somewhere that had a dining table big enough to seat 16+ people together and this was perfect. There are several living spaces for everyone to spread out as well as outside seating when the weather is nice. Lots of parking and beautiful surrounding countryside. Communication with Bridget was seamless. Highly recommend this property."

"A beautifully renovated property, keeping all the history but with modern comforts. Well equipped farmhouse kitchen with a large dining table, many characterful and gorgeously appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. A brilliant games room and hot tub and a share of the lovely indoor swimming pool. Wonderful countryside views and of Glastonbury Tor. "Vine Cottage is a large, spacious, property, ideal for our family group of seven adults. With two lounges, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. It's in a beautiful location situated in the vineyard itself. The kitchen/dining room is stunning, and made for family get togethers. However, the description in the listing needs to have more information. First of all, THERE IS NOT A MICROWAVE! It never entered our heads that there wouldn't be one at the property, but there wasn't....

"Fantastic mix of living spaces, each with character. Wonderful and well-equipped kitchen, leading into a huge dining area, or out into one part of the garden. "The property is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been beautifully restored. Accommodation was well laid out and because of the host’s style and attention to detail felt very like ‘home from home’. "Hotel was great, although currently undergoing a refit in the bar & restaurant, service was very attentive. Parking is an issue as car park was full but there is a larger public car park, £13 per 24hrs, would be nice if, as a hotel resident they would off set this as the hotel car park is so small and can only fit 6-7 cars, so that would have been a nice gesture as a guest. food was great, but very small portions, I ordered the king scallops for starters only to have two scallops which was really disappointing, especially for the price!! overall a let down by the food, the service was great just a shame the portions were so small for the price you are expected to pay. "
