"I purchased room for my daughter and her new husband the night they married. I INFORMED WELL IN ADVANCE AND EVEN CALLED WHEN THEY WERE IN THE WAY. .this place didn't even have a card let alone a bottle of water to welcome newly Weds. In fact. The front entrance was so poorly lit and hidden that the couple drive in circles for 15 min trying to figure out how to get in. The room was lovely. The staff. Very friendly. But again. "Owners were friendly and welcoming, room was clean and well put together. No frills, but all the basics were covered well. I suspect some of the other reviewers were expecting a hotel experience when this is a family-run motel. It was a little rough around the edges but we had a very comfortable stay. "Nice, big hotel by the lake. Easy to get to with plenty of dining and shopping options close by. It is dated and needs some TLC. Rooms are spacious and comfortable."
