"Two nice days in Hotel Salinera. However, this hotel is not in Piran, like Hotels.com said. Its located in Portoroz - about 5 miles away from Piran and its roughly an hour walk. Piran is a beautiful smal town with few places worth seeing. Next time Hotels.com should give the right location for the place of our next accommodation. According to me it's a big mistake."

"Terme Hotel is just being renovated, still our room or the outside of the building still look old. The facilities in the room are basic and the bath room quite small, but all in all fine and very clean. Food options in the hotel are rather medium and dinner at the hotel quite late - and there aren't many options around, except for Restaurant Pinija which is in walking distance and really great. "This was our second stay at these villas, with two different experiences. First time was a ground floor room with no terrace, just a "shared space" with a table and chairs for several rooms. Second time was on the first floor with a lovely terrace where we could safely leave our things outside. Overall, a good place to stay, though the buildings and the interior are not new, they are clean. There's a decent TV (though they all seem to have painfully slow remotes), minibar fridge that can be used...
