"This was an affordable option in a touristy area. The hotel is old, but the rooms have been renovated with new carpets and bathrooms. The single room was small, but I had room to open my large suitcase on the floor when I moved the chair. I had a very nice seaside view from my window. The breakfast was fantastic. I added breakfast to my booking, and they had great menu options. One morning I had the full Scottish breakfast, and the next day I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I had supper there both nights, and the meals were good. The dining room and breakfast area both gave seaside views. I would definitely go back to the Uig Hotel. "

"Ideal location and amenities. Cabin very clean & tidy with towels, tv, tea bags & sugar provided! Kitchen fitted with all necessary items. Host James very kindly had put heaters on for us arriving & he was fab at responding to any questions we had. Lovely stay, highly recommend! "

"5 star luxury boutique hotel that was either recently just built or fully renovated. Breakfast was amazing and included in the pricing. Trail mix and mineral water was provided free of charge each day. The only downside was the pricing which I felt was on the high side, but I guess you get what you pay for. Staff was cordial but not really welcoming. "

"Booked the room with the queen size bed and a pill out couch for the kiddo. Loved the vintage feel of the room except that the shower had a slow drain. We contacted the front desk and this young lady came over right away and fixed it. Great water pressure. We also had dinner at the restaurant and had a lovely view of Bradford Bay in front of the hotel. We were taken care of by the same young lady that checked us in and help us with the drain situation. We were a bit worried she was the only staff at the hotel. She was lovely and had a great positive attitude. "

"Property is beautiful on the lake. They have an outdoor terrace to enjoy some cocktails before dinner. Breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner there and it was delicious "
