The Creek House is a retro-rustic getaway with luxury lodge touches and plush amenities (including free wifi and Roku TV) – all in an ultra-private creekside setting. This peaceful, fully equipped house features design with a mountain cabin feel that takes you back to a simpler time. Plus, you’re close to all the MANY attractions the area has to offer. In fall and winter, enjoy the sounds of a warm, crackling fire and the creek rushing outside your window, and toast friends and family in style, comfort and serenity. In spring and summer, fish from your wooden bridge, have dinner on the back rock patio and sit in the cedar hot tub. It's creekside and under the stars! (We are now trying to keep the CEDAR HOT TUB operational during Late Fall/Winter season -- although we cannot never 100% guarantee it's use. It's new but can be temperamental.)

Tranquil and lovely. We were looking for a place to unplug and relax and we found just that in the Creek House. The sounds of the creek were so soothing, and I spent a lot of time in the creek room reading while my husband played guitar. We're already planning on going back!

We sat by the creek for morning coffee and evening wine & cheese. The sight and sound of it really relaxes you. The moss covered path to the pond is somewhat magical. Caught plenty of fish in the pond. Would definitely like to return someday!

Have rented a few times, the cabin is the perfect setting to relax and recharge. I bring a pile of books and read in the creek room by day and next to fireplace by night. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodations.

This is my third visit to Big Al's Creekside Cabin and as always it was everything, I expected. Even when the power went out due to a downed tree from a rain/windstorm, it never changed the mood. If your looking for a great place to get away and relax, I highly recommend Big Al's.!!!!!

Loved our stay at Big Al’s!
Everything during our stay was perfect! Super easy check in, all necessary amenities, and just outstanding scenery and awesome experience. Weather didn’t cooperate, so didn’t get to use the firepit, but had no problems keeping the kids entertained with the creek, pond and canoe, walking trails and nearby attractions. Would definetly stay at Big Al’s again!

What a spot!!!
Couldn’t have been happier with our stay! So relaxing kids loved playing in the creek, and kayaking the pond. Everything you need is available, hot tub, creek n pond fishing were great, we caught brown trout and small mouth bass.
