"The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this. "We had a lovely stay at the property. The location was peaceful and very pretty and the locals were really friendly. Great for a peaceful getaway, fishing and tranquility. The nearest shops were about 24 minutes away which is fine if you don't mind driving. Some of the appliances were a little tricky to work out. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and did not mind travelling to local beaches. My son really enjoyed the fishing and the view was amazing. "

"The cottage is beautifully surrounded by gardens, with a certain old world feel about it. The cottage is filled with old antique furniture and old books as well as two fireplaces which we made good use of. There were a few things that were less than ideal; two chairs heavily covered in dust, a live cockroach under our pillow and one in the kitchen (with no bug spray for us to get rid of it) and a lack of storage space in the second bedroom (the one with two singles) to unpack our clothing during...
