"The apartment is clean and comfortable with great views. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although apart from salt, pepper and cooking oil there were no other basics such as tea and coffee.Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to park in front of the property. It might not suit those with mobility issues as the (internal) stairs to the property are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. "

"Perfect flat, with a beautiful view. Lots of space for the family & our wee dog. Everything that you need for a holiday with a family of a variety of ages. We have been before to this flat before and will visit again. The flat is clean, comfortable and welcoming. I love the decor and describe the flat as a quirky little museum. Fabulous view over Rothesay, the ferry terminal and beyond. Definitely worth the short steep walk up the hill to get there. Would happily return. "

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"
