"This place is incredibly charming. The morning breakfast is very German, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. I felt like as though i walked into a building that wouldve been modern 500 years ago, and I loved it. The stairs are steep, and not ADA accessible in any way, but I appreciated that aswell. "Horrible experience. I was traveling to Berlin for one night and upon arrival I found the hotel front door closed. Apparently this is normal as there is no staff on hand unless there is a check-in due however this prompted me to give the hotel a call. The lady on the phone then (in a very rude manner) informed me that the booking I had had been cancelled by hotels.com and that there were no rooms available.
