"the property has a wealth of history on display ,it has plenty of querks which only add to its charm the guests have the run of the dinning ,cooking facilties and are not lorded over in rigsby fashon as in some establishments. The host is genuine and soical and is a pleasure to spend time with as are the staff ,on the whole a very pleasant and intresting stay .woulud i stay again ?without hesitation "

"Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. "A lovely, comfortable stay. Cynthia was a delightful welcoming host who couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was excellent - including an enormous tasty cooked breakfast. My room was large, comfortable and had a large en suite bathroom. "

"Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week....
