More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "The cottage was fantastic, all the facilities perfect and cleanliness spot on. I would highly recommend this cottage without a doubt. We didn't want to leave. Location and views were amazing. The cottage is very spacious and easily enough space for seven people as listed!Only slight comment worth note was that the location was slightly different to that listed, slightly further out of Luss. than expected - but was fine with a car. Again, highly recommended. "

"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "

"Lovely house and gardens, plenty of room for a family get together. It was nice that each bedroom had access to an ensuite or bathroom. The pool table was a great addition and kept both big kids and little kids entertained. We had snow while we were there and having the log burner and extra radiators to hand was great for keeping warm. Communication with host was great."

"Thornhill Lodge was perfect for our family of 7 as a home base for exploration of the area. The house was spacious and comfortable and Ross was attentive to any problems/questions we had. Everyone having their own en suite bathroom was a great plus. The Lion and Unicorn right down the street and the small store directly across the street were a pleasant addition to our visit. "
