"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was just what one would expect from an older inn, quite, clean and comfy. We ate breakfast and dinner at the inn, both were great. The inn was conveniently located and the staff were great! Certainly a nice change from staying at chain hotels."

"I highly recommend The Davenport Inn in Portsmouth NH. We recently stayed 2 nights for a quick weekend getaway. The property has been tastefully restored as a modern inn that retains its old-world historic property charm. Extremely clean and well maintained. This hidden gem with only 8 rooms is top of its class for a boutique hotel. The location to downtown is perfect being only a few minutes stroll through historic period neighborhoods. "The sunset suite was wonderful. Great location and loved the balcony’s off the living room and bedroom. My two issues were how limited and confusing parking was. Nothing to put on your car and you’re crammed into this small lot making you scared to leave the spot if you had to. Also water pressure and temperature was terrible in the shower. The music from the bar down below is quite loud however I knew that going into making my reservation. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay...

"Thank you Desni & Steve. This was our second stay at Paradise In York and the name remains accurate. The area, the coast, the property, the house - are awesome. We loved cooking and communing in the open kitchen/dining area, playing music by the fire, walking the coast and beach, etc. Bedrooms/baths were all great, clean and well supplied.
