"The pub itself is very good. Food and service excellent. Our room was very tired and inneedof updating. The worse thing was the bed, which had a coil sprung mattress which was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. "Well heating in my room did not work. The room was a bit chilly late at night. And the water was not hot enough. It would be nice to have a few more plugs in the room for charger and laptop. I only saw 2 one for the light and 1 for the kettle"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was spotlessly clean, furnished beautifully, everything was there that you could possibly need. There were very special touches in place that made you feel welcome. Fresh milk and orange juice, cereals, an excellent selection of teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was warm and cosy. Trish was so helpful and came to my rescue with a blister plaster. "Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. "

"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

"The security was very rude and intimidatory. They Would not allow me into the property without my key card. I explained that my friend has the key card and went back to the room early. I was the lead guest in the booking. I had email confirmation, my ID and the card I used to pay. Hotel security still refused me entry. I had to call the reception desk to get approval access. This was 4am. Prior to this rude hiccup I enjoyed my stay. After this incident it put a dampen on the rest of the trip."

"Fairmont Windsor Park offers a lovely experience for couples and families, with various dining options and close proximity to Windsor Park, where you can spot deer. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are modern. However, there was a booking issue where a king room booked via Expedia was switched to a queen room upon arrival, with a £30 fee to upgrade back to the originally booked room. After a brief dispute at check-out, the fee was waived. Despite this hiccup, the stay was overall enjoyable."
