"We had issues with leaking and didn’t have a sofa or bed for the 2nd night. The lady we’d been in comms with throughout check in and who had been texting us all the rules then totally ignored us. I’ve since been told her phone wasn’t working which I find strange. And then no attempt to make up for a spoilt night away. "We decided to stay at the cabin as it was relatively close to Alten towers. The location was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. On arrival we noticed there was a code lock but hadn't got a code to open the door. I called the owner and she was abrupt and gave me the code. "Our stay at Wychnor Park Country Club was fantastic. There were some issues with our accommodation but nothing that really ruined our short stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the fantastic staff and then went on to the apartment. Whilst only 2 bed it was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. Some minor cleanliness issues but not anything that ruined our trip. Facilities are fantastic and so much to do. The leisure centre was more than enough and suitable for our family, just a shame...

"Fantastic cottage for our short break. Communication with owner and directions to the property were perfect. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the pool was even better than the photos. The surrounding area was beautiful and great for walking. All in all one of the best short breaks we’ve ever had."
