This is a beautiful 3-bedroom holiday home in Stramproy, situated in the middle of the Kempen-Broek nature reserve, and is perfect for groups of 6. Amidst scenic nature, you can enjoy a steaming cup of coffee on the terrace. What can more do you need for a perfect break?

There are many trails in the area which is best explored by bike or on foot. You can go shopping in Roermond with its well-known outlet centre. Or visit the pleasant city centre of Eindhoven. Within an hour you could even be in Maastricht, Aachen. There is a lake and a supermarket 5 km away.


The home has an open kitchen and a cosy living room to make you feel at home. If travelling with your children, this home offers play equipment, slide, children's bed, and high chair. Boules court on the premises can be used for recreational purposes. The pet-friendly property allows you to bring 2 pets for some nominal fee.

Check-in and check-out timings are between 3-9 PM and 9-10 AM respectively.

Bilderrahmen mit herausstehenden Nägeln, Betten, die so weich sind, dass man nicht darauf schlafen kann, Esstischstühle voller Flecken und Dreck, alle Tische haben schmutzige Flecken, Löcher im Boden und in den Wänden, das Sofa stinkt und ist voller Dreck Flecken, die Betten riechen wirklich übel! Sogar die Bettwäsche aus der Verpackung roch. Wir haben das Haus sauberer verlassen als bei unserer Ankunft. Später auch einen Lufterfrischer. Der Kühlschrank funktioniert kaum. Unser gesamtes Essen wurde ständig nass, aber klatschnass. Der Kühlschrank ist einfach kaputt und auf jedem Regal hängen Tropfen. Das Besteck, die Gläser, Pfannen, Teller und Behälter waren schmutzig. Noch Lippen auf den Gläsern, Reste auf den Tellern. Es heißt, es sei ein autofreier Park, aber selbst in einem großen Landal-Park fahren weniger Autos durch den Park. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt: „Es kann sein, dass es Mängel gibt, die dem Vermieter bekannt sind, aber nichts unternehmen. Dagegen können wir nichts machen.“ Schöner Eingang. Deshalb habe ich ihn nicht kontaktiert und bin einfach nach Hause gegangen. Äußerst unglücklich. Wir werden nie wieder in diesen Park gehen. Die einzige Empfehlung ist das Restaurant Nieuw Vosseven. Leckeres Essen!

Am 12. April verbrachten wir eine Wochenmitte mit 6 Erwachsenen in einem 6-Personen-Haus. Das war eigentlich nicht nützlich. Ein Paar schlief in einem Etagenbett ohne Schutzkante, das fand er unheimlich. Dies wurde dem Eigentümer mitgeteilt. Im Inneren des Hauses war es sehr sauber, aber die Gartenmöbel waren sehr schmutzig und auch die Terrasse. Zudem waren die Fliesen rund um das Haus bei feuchtem Wetter sehr rutschig. Diese Angelegenheiten wurden auch an den Eigentümer weitergegeben. Wir haben die Gartenmöbel und die Terrasse selbst gereinigt, sonst hätten wir nicht draußen sitzen können. Am ersten Abend stellte sich heraus, dass der Abfluss in der Küche verstopft war. Anscheinend wusste die Rezeption das schon, hatte uns aber nichts gesagt. Glücklicherweise wurde das Problem am nächsten Tag vom Eigentümer gelöst, der mit jemandem von einer Entsperrungsfirma kam. Alles in allem: ein tolles Haus für eine Familie mit Kindern, wenn das Etagenbett gesichert ist. Die Sanitäranlagen sind neu und in gutem Zustand. In der Nähe der Dusche könnte ein Wischer und/oder ein Abzieher angebracht werden. Die anderen Betten gefielen uns. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, es gibt jede Menge Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren und für schöne Ausblicke. Am letzten Abend aßen wir im Restaurant neben dem Park zu Abend. Gutes Essen mit leckeren Pommes. Empfohlen. Zur Anreise: Der Schlüssel liegt im Safe an der Rezeption. Anscheinend hatte ich eine E-Mail erhalten, die im Spam-Ordner gelandet war und mir den Code mitteilte. Die Rezeption war geschlossen. Es hat einige Zeit gedauert, kaum bis gar kein Mobilfunkempfang. Das WLAN im Haus selbst ist in Ordnung, es handelt sich jedoch um eine offene WLAN-Verbindung.
