"Stayed one night. Lots of building work going on but not an issue. Staff food and room very good. Tried the container golf which was good fun. Only slight negative garden area looking a bit tired. Probably this would be given a freshen up before season starts. Overall definitely worth a visit / stay and would recommend. Would definitely go back as an ideal base if visiting north and west Norfolk."

"Great centrally located inn. Comfortable bed (quite firm mattress - that’s what I like), clean room, kettle with a good amount of teas and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. I didn’t eat, but seems to be a quite popular restaurant. Bathroom had a tub which was a nice surprise - water controls are a bit strange and take a while to figure out hot water, but then there was plenty. I would recommend it if you are visiting Ely. "

"Fantastic experience would highly recommend this wonderful Inn. We had a wedding reception to attend and booked the Crown Inn to stay. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival, our room was fantastic well equipped and a cosy relaxing place to unwind. We had dinner, was a well balanced menu of traditional pub food. Definitely worth the wait. The shower was really good. Breakfast next morning was enough a well cooked full English, cereal toast OJ and tea or coffee. Will be back "

"This hotel is amazing. I booked 4 rooms for a touring band. I was slightly worried about some of the negative reviews, but the place was great. It does need some attention, but it's an historic building - 400 years old! The stairs are crazy, like something from a funhouse! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mario, the manager is awesome. Friendly, chatty and accommodating. There's no bar and no food, but it's in the centre of Wisbech, and there are plenty of food and drinks options in town. We took a band picture with Mario, but for some reason I can't upload it here. "
