"A lovely, spacious property in a great location for a fabulous celebration of birthdays. Very good communication between hosts and housekeepers who were on hand to greet us, explain everything and to fix any problems should they arise. Everything thoughtfully prepared for our stay and all bases covered from a well equipped kitchen to a fabulous play area in ample grounds for the children. Our dogs were well accommodated too and having the boot room for drying them off and taking muddy wellies...

"From booking to check in, communication was excellent. The detailed information pack provided was helpful including the layout of the rooms. "

"3 families (6 adults and rest teenagers / kids) get together for 4 nights Had supermarket deliver for first night and spent the rest of the week enjoying each others company ! The kids loved the games room, swimming pool , we set up badminton and was other garden games too - we spent evenings playing bored games, so much quality time and phones / tablets hardly touched !! Plenty of space to spread out too and spend time alone or with different groups of people ! We also had enough space...

"We had a great weekend away for three generations. Everyone made the most of the the pool, hot tub and garden which are fantastic spaces for all the family. Sandra was really helpful and responsive."

"Excellent location and accommodation. Clean and well looked after. Hosts really quick and friendly with replies. Dog friendly with large enclosed garden and dog friendly beach (February) literally across the road. We ordered tescos for arrival which was really easy. As out of season, no nearby shops, but we expected this and felt prepared with our tescos. Peaceful locations and great for dog walks. Would definitely recommend "

"The house was just as described. Everything was clean and the house was well equipped. The location of the house was good, in a nice village with shops, pubs, and places to eat all within walking distance. We were able to visit lots of the surrounding towns and beaches. I will definitely booking to stay again. "

"The lodge has plenty of space and is really well equipped. The location is lovely, and nice and quiet! We didn’t use the cafe/bar on site but it looked popular. Perfect place to explore the Norfolk area."

"Property was exactly as pictured, beautiful location and spacious, would recommend this to anyone! Only downside is that it feels like it needs a tiny bit of maintenance. Multiple chairs and cupboards were broken, couple of toilets blocked, couple of showers and taps didn’t work. These are all minor things which I presume due to how amazing this place is and fully booked the owners don’t have an opportunity to fix these little things. Would still recommend!"

"Lovely cottage. Looks small from the outside but when you get inside it is really spacious. It felt lovely and cosy with everything provided."

Great place to stay. Great food and very friendly

"We stayed at the Crown overnight ahead of visiting family. Charlotte was a fantastic host, really friendly & welcoming. We booked a meal in the bar for the evening too, which was lovely. Food was great and staff were really friendly. We stayed in the Lennne double room which was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable nights stay, with a lovely walk-in shower.The building is very old and quirky, with low beams and ceilings, and little steps that you have to watch out for, therefore it may not be suitable for disabled visitors. But luckily for us that isnt an issue so the features add to buildings charm. A full English breafast was included the next morning, cooked my Charlotte. The service again was warm and friendly. Food was excellent, locally sourced meats with unlimed coffee. Absolutely perfect. We were made to feel very welcome, and would definitely return for another stay. Thank you Charlotte and the team! "

"Parking lot was a bit hard to find as there was a large bus parked right in front of where you need to turn. Traveling by car as an American from London, the roads are narrow and lots of one ways. If I had been driving a bit more, most likely wouldn’t have felt a bit overwhelmed. The overall stay was great! You’re within walking distance of the cathedral and lots of local shops- food and goods. Great cafe down the road as well as a pharmacy. The room was great and dinner was amazing! Best fish n chips I had all trip! Parking lot was great once we found it! 😁"

"Stayed one night. Lots of building work going on but not an issue. Staff food and room very good. Tried the container golf which was good fun. Only slight negative garden area looking a bit tired. Probably this would be given a freshen up before season starts. Overall definitely worth a visit / stay and would recommend. Would definitely go back as an ideal base if visiting north and west Norfolk."
