"For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking."

"Secure Parking, easy check in at the bar (which encouraged me to order a much needed pint lol) with friendly service. Very clean and tidy room, comfy bed. Stayed and ate in the bar that night and had a tasty burger and chips. A stay that made me think next time I am down Frome way I would book here again without hesitation. "

"Amazing place, temperature was minus and freezing so couldn’t get the heating high enough, but to be fair the bed was extremely comfy and had a really good sleep before going onto my next location, would definitely stay again and give time to use the facilities better! "The room, large and clean with comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good, breakfast cooked to order and lots of choice. The location of the Hotel is great for Shaftesbury town, a 12 minute walk takes you to the centre. We really liked it. We didn’t use the pool but it looks nice, although it seemed to be constantly used by locals mainly. Overall very happy "
