Stonington is located on Deer Isle and can be reached by car via Route 1 from Bangor or Bar Harbor. The town has its own small airport, Stonington Municipal Airport, which offers daily service to Boston. If you're coming from out of state, the closest airports are Bangor International Airport and Portland International Jetport.
When coming to this property, guests have the option to arrive by boat or car.
We recommend that guests have a personal vehicle for running errands and exploring the area, although Uber/Lyft/taxis are available.

Dear Guest,
Here at Inn on the Harbor, we welcome your four-legged family member. However, due to some circumstances, we ONLY ALLOW DOGS in our property. Also, we ask the following of you, as the pet owner.
1. Please DO NOT leave your pet in the rooms unattended
2. Please pick up all the excrement they may leave.
3. Please have your dog on a leash under your control, when enjoying the deck areas.
4. Please try to refrain your dog from barking.
We have supplied you with a pet basket, which includes the following:
1. A blanket to be used if your pet sleeps on the furniture, or with you on the bed.
2. A towel to be used if your pet gets wet.
3. If you use the pet blankets and or towel, Please DO NOT put them back in the pet box. We laundry them after every use for the safety of other dogs.
We have dog treats, extra poo bags, and a gate in the common room.
There will be an additional cleaning fee added to your bill if your pet makes a mess of the room and or bedding.
