"So peaceful and quiet and everything has been so well thought out. The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. It’s open year round so we’ll definitely be back when it’s colder and we can have the fire going! Wendy was absolutely lovely when we arrived and our daughter made a new friend in her wonderful dog."

"Booked as a surprise for my partner. Arrived after dark which made it feel even more special as felt so secluded and added to the element of surprise. It was amazing to wake to the snore of the pig and the calling of the cute little donkey! The bed is super comfortable, the duvet literally hugs you! Was such a special little break away. "We had quite a problem with finding it. On the website it suggests that it is in Snargate. However it is in Brookland! We spent nearly 2 hours looking for it."

"We really enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely relaxed weekend and made the most of the hot tub. The owners were very helpful and friendly and any problems were happy for us to knock on there back door which is opposite the cabin"

"A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay."

"The property was absolutely beautiful and tranquil was easy to find and had the most comfortable bed i have slept in. Everything we could need was there and was extremely clean. We will definitely be coming back"

"We had a super stay in the lovely Shepherds Hut and we had complete privacy. The hut was furnished with everything we needed and there we some very thoughtful touches. Sheep were very sweet. Get location."

"The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special. "Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "

"Lovely hotel with great views. The room was nice and comfortable. The shower room was a little small but the shower itself was excellent. Nice breakfast. It's a great location with a nice walk into the refurbished harbour. A great stay."

"We had a very comfortable mini-break, looking for a seaside hotel with a bit of character, rather than anything bland and corporate. This fitted the bill very well. The rooms are large and understandably a little challenging to heat, but the staff managed well and we had a pleasant and very well-done evening meal on one of the nights. "
