Door lock difficult. Better to give renters the code. Problem with hot water on first day. It kept running hot then cold after a few minutes, then back to hot again. Finally on 3rd day woke up to only cold water. Called manager, after climbing up on high platform to turn on unit, we were advised by her spouse to turn emergency switch off then on again & told hot water would return. Left for 3-4 hours, returned and still no hot water. Finally landlord agreed to come over to see if it could be fixed. Arrived and turned on hot water heater, without letting us know they were there. One of the men was amiable, the other was not. Later in the day, hot water came back, but continued to go off and on until we left. Also not able to set the upstairs thermostat to desired temperature.
In conclusion, despite favorable first impression with the manager Wendy, things turned south when we had to deal with her husband . We will not rent this unit again.
