The room was not as advertised on your site , ie I needed separate wc and washing facilities as I was going to a funeral and did not want to have to wait or share a bathroom. Not the hotels fault they could not accommodate any other room. Had to stay elsewhere.

The place certainly had character! Perhaps a heritage building, on a major bus route. They were not expecting me, which surprised me, but were able to offer me a room.

The whole place is a disgrace to be called a hotel, live electricals over the sink in the bathroom, no lights in the sockets, no towels, tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. I know you get what you pay for, but£10.00per night would be too expensive for this place. Beirut is a Palace compared to this place, stay away unless you want a unique sleepover. The smoke detector in our room had been covered over with what looked like a shower cap.

Never again!
Most disappointing stay. Reception was not manned at 8.30 pm and it took a visit to the adjacent pub to get service. Everything looked as though it needed a complete refit and redecoration. Dull decoration and worn carpets. My booking seemed not to have registered on their system and the advertised free wi-fi was non existent. The room was up two flights of narrow stairs and at the end of a corridor. The room itself was enough to be glad I was only sleeping for a night. The “free breakfast” consisted of apple juice, cereal with UHT milk, tea and serve yourself toast and marmalade. Hardly adequate. There seemed no understanding of friendly customer service and I felt I as intruding on a private family gathering, a funeral at that. I can honestly say it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and can say for certain I will never return.

Absolutely minging. Only paid £40 but even then. I opened the side drawer to find only what I can describe as a used ashtray, it was full of cigarette ends. Bed was very uncomfortable. Staff friendly enough

Had to resort to showing my reservation as there was no record of it at reception.Free parking ending up with me leaving my vehicle in public car park overnight which was £1.Because of this I felt uncomfortable with risking my vehicle to vandalism or theft.Very noisy as area was frequented with drunks,so it took a long time to eventually fall asleep.Hotel is very tired and worn and needs a good amount of renovation.I know this is a budget hotel with budget based pricing but I wouldn't stay again.

Grim
Wasn't very nice to stay 3rd floor full of addicts it's the house of horrors. Do not take children here it's not safe. The buildings actually needs shutting down to be quite honest. Vile man who owns it never awake always asleep room wasn't cleaned wasn't showing how to work the door with code etc. Gave 1 hand towel in room. I'd seen the same piece of bread on the stairs for days it's just horrid people that run the bar we're having lock ins till late like 4am. Before i could sleep I'd wouldn't let a dog stay their never mind anyone else. £230 for the week as well to a hell hole. To be polite.

We arrived and got given keys, didn't have to show any proof of booking or anything, went to my room which was booked as a twin room to find a single bed along side a pop up skanky bed with no bedding. (I asked for bedding and was brought it promplty)  My sister's room has fake nails and cigarette butts in the bedside drawer, other sister's door frame was hanging off, finger nail in the bed, hair ball under the bed, stained carpets, stained walls, the list goes on! We were genuinely scared and left less than an hour after we checked in.  Very dodgey men wondering round with no teeth, black eyes and drunk...

Awful, We did not stay, we wasn’t expecting a lot for the price but it has to be the worst hotel we’ve ever seen. Upon arrival the lady behind the desk didn’t seem to know we were coming or what rooms were free. Strong smell of paint mixed with a smell of damp/Mould. Light fitting above the bed was covered in dust, only 1 bulb out of 3 and no shades. The mattress was so old and thin you could feel every spring. What looked like the laundry room had been left open, every wall in there was covered in Mould! We are now in arguments trying to get our money back as they don’t offer a refund for cancellations, we didn’t cancel we refused to stay there is a difference.
