"Hotel was a brilliant base for a short stay to visit family. Very evident that the owners have spent a considerable sum upgrading the hotel, in areas its modern clean and finished to a lovely standard. "We love staying at this hotel , location short walk down the hill to the centre , clean comfy room with a lovely sea view room , paint work needs some tlc , will be back girl On bar Saturday night at 10.30 was being spoken to by a not very nice guy which I don’t think she deserved"

What lets the Grand down is the lack of parking, they have now lost free parking in the rail station, so you can park in a rugby ground over the road for £5 per day or in their "garage " which is really a large shed for ..."
