"I had a really good stay - the breakfast and service was excellent and room very comfortable. I did find the room a little too warm though. The main light was not working and there were no rubber bath mats to stand on in the shower. I was however given a bath towel to use instead. I was hoping to make use of the extra pillows in the wardrobe, but unfortunately there was a vomit-like smell in the wardrobe which had permeated the pillows. "We had a lovely stay. The hosts were welcoming and friendly - they clearly enjoy and take pride in their job. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with amenities (after a long day the hot chocolate was well needed!). Breakfast in the morning was excellent quality."

"This is a very old property with some low ceilings. The pub and restaurant seems to be very popular. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The slopping floors make for some fun walks! Ideal for our requirements whilst visiting family and I would certainly come again."

"Had a great stay in the Broadside room last night. Only issue is that the bed does need replacing - although fairly comfy to sleep on once settled, the mattress has lost all of its springiness and has no support, and makes a terrible racket when turning over in the night and has random springs boinging for no reason. The bed itself also creaks quite badly too. However…..if this gets sorted we will happily stay here again time after time. Every single other aspect of our stay was fantastic-...

"Easy check in, lovely spacious room within a separate block from the pub, with a sofa. Bathroom clean and shower was a good size. Breakfast was served efficiently and was delicious. It was quite expensive but was a convenient location as I was attending a wedding in the area and every aspect worked perfectly "

My only concern was our window would Not stay open & we were very hot during the night although a fan was in the room could not sleep with it on, In the morning very little hot water pressure, this could be the someone else had the hot water running at the same time, these were very small negatives but would definitely stay here again "
