Mississippi River Shore - A sunset and the fisherman's delight on the water
We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your front yard and stone throw to the river. You can sit in your lawn chair under the shade tree, or walk out onto our shoreline ledge or dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening you can sit and relax as you grill your dinner enjoying the breathtaking sunset and barge traffic. Eagles are visitors to the area, as well as Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and a few varieties of ducks. This is truly a place for those who love to be right down on the water. It is a fisherman's delight! The public boat ramp is just a few blocks away and we have private parking for your boat trailer. Very quiet and peaceful. Newly remodeled and very clean.

Had an excellent time here! Place was nice and clean and close to the river. Sunset are spectacular! Just wish there was more outdoor space to hang out on. If you want to sit outside, pack lawn chairs. Would absolutely stay here again!
Just outside of La Crosse, this was a great little place to stay with friends while visiting our kids for UWL Family weekend! It was nothing fancy but had all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay! John was responsive to any questions we had.
Lovely stay very quiet. Right on the Mississippi river.
Very clean and well stocked the kitchen as far as utensils and what you need. It is in a trailer, so trying to find it was a little bit tricky but contacting the owners was fantastic! Great trip from the cities with my two boys, we enjoyed ourselves!
Stayed here for a short weekend with my son. Spent most of the days fishing, but the property was great. Perfect location for coulee region activities. My only regret is that due to morning rain I didnt get the chance to enjoy coffee by the river.
Came in for UWL Parents weekend and this was SO much better than a hotel. Extremely well stocked, unbelievably clean and quaint. Right on the river and the back view is amazing. Excellent communication also. We will definitely reserve again!! Thank you!!
When we pulled be honest little taken back by outside appearance. But is very nice redone on inside very clean. Talked with property manager over a concern was very polite and helpful. Nice relaxing watch the river go by. Very much enjoyed our stay would stay here again..
i get urges to be near the water, this was the perfect spot. front row seat to the best river view yet, amazing sunsets. Even though a few days of my stay were a bit windy, it was still wonderful..
Driving up to the trailer at first, i was a bit disappointed, but after entering the inside, my view was changed. It was very nicely updated, decorated and spotless ! i also got to meet John and Racheal, the hosts, great people.
I'd highly recommend a Ribeye dinner at Rockys Supperclub right there in town, you wont be disappointed. this little diamond in the rough, will definitely remain on my lists of stays to revisit.
My husband and our 5 kids stayed at this home for the 4th of July weekend. The owners provided an inflatable mattress and there is also a cot. The mattresses on the beds are very comfortable. Everything about the home was next to perfect. Do not be deceived by the outside. It’s what’s on the inside that counts - the inside is completely remodeled and spotless from top to bottom. The outside is a little run down but still very functional. We were able to dock our boat to the pier that is right on the Mississippi backwaters located a short ride to the main channel. We caught plenty of pan fish, large mouth and a few perch from the pier. We made small fires in the fire pot and roasted marshmallows while we watched the beautiful sunsets. This is definitely a place we hope to come back to and will highly recommend to our friends and family!
Mobile home in a very clean mobile home court, right on the river. Neighbor had a dog but we never heard it in 10 days. Bed was perfect, slept well, kitchen is great but no dishwasher. Didn't miss it. We chose it for the furniture and were not disappointed. Owner does not respond to VRBO messages, had to track him down, its a real estate agency so they answer promptly
Location for us was a big thing....so this place not only has the Location but it also has everything else. First your wowed by the cleanliness of the place but then you realize it has a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom and nice cold ac. It has a great view and very comfortable beds and furnishings. We will be back next Memorial day....
We survived the beaver attack of 2022 ,Stoddard,Wisonsin
It is just as pictured. Very clean and comfortable beds. Our only issue was the small step up into the livingroom, which we forgot almost everytime. It made the stay very entertaining waiting for someone to trip. The only thing that could have been better was the fishing. We did catch a few Perch and a few Black crappier but not enough. It was a great relaxing weekend!

Fishing trip
Property is ok inside ! Needs pots and pans , only one small frying pan there. Shower head is bad, but works to get wet . Washer is broke . Ceiling fan is falling off the ceiling . Entry deck is soft and spongy (heavy person could fall through )
Recommended for some fishing buddy’s, but that’s it !
Very nice rental for a weekend of fishing. The view from the living room window was mesmerizing! Only flaw we experienced was a faulty shower head, but it won't prevent us from staying here in the future.
Visit matched advertising accurately. Downtown Stoddard main street was ripped up & closed down but you could still get to where you needed and LaCrosse is just a few miles away for anything you might need the Stoddard doesn't offer. Stoddard is quite small. The neighborhood is quite safe but a little run down. End of the road next to the Mississippi.
Trailers are old but again this one inside is beautiful.
