Lady doing check in was lovely , super friendly and helpful . Couple of issues resolved quickly after a few laughs . TV positioning and size bizarre . Would recommend displaying WIFI login details in the rooms in future . Room needs a bin , not just a bathroom bin . Good close parking, big spacious room with a nice comfy sofa . Lots of potential in room , but in need of updating .
Ive stayed in some cheap hotels before. But this hotel is probably worst I’ve ever stayed in. There is too many bad things to list.

Great having private access to the rooms, however the stairs are very steep. The room had everything I needed for my short stay but it does feel a little unloved.
I will be back.
The room was spatious, clean and had all the basic amenities. I was pleasantly surprised considering the price and I'd definately stay again when I'm in the area.
Food in the pub was also smashing, decently priced homemade food and you get a generous serving. Service was quick and staff friendly.
One of the worst places ive stayed, i waa looking for a base to work from when ive got jobs in the area.
Checking in was easy and so was the parking.
As soon as i went through the main door of the accommodation part i knew it was going to be bad.
No working tv.
Foisty smell.
Lights not working properly.
Very dated and dirty bed covers.
I ended up sleeping with my clothes on on top of the quilt.
There are much better places locally.
The hotel is connected to a pub/restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food we had for dinner was excellent. We stayed here because we needed a dog friendly place to stay for the night and it was the closest to our meeting we had. The bed was super comfy the only problem was the bathroom and shower were unheated so it was very cold to go in there. But that being said we had a good night sleep and that is what we needed from our stay.

Good food good value
Exellent value rooms, everything worked as it should.
Good pub with well cooked food not your usual chain fayre.
Only stayed for one night on business. Everything was OK especially given the price in comparison to other local hotels. Would stay again if in the area.
