"The location of the hotel was very good. A 5-10 minute walk to the old town, about a 20-30 minute walk to the saunas and bathhouses on the beach and 20 minutes to the Opera House. The views from the Sky Bar were great."

"A well placed, quiet hotel that is showing its age. My room had a mirrored display case with nothing in it, a bathroom with a sink drain into the open floor, and a generally dated, but comfortable appearance. Breakfast was good, and the hotel restaurant was also good. "

"This was my favourite hotel that I stayed out throughout my Sweden, Denmark and Iceland trip! The design is really cool and pretty, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was amazing. I went for dinner and the food was so delicious and the staff were so lovely. "Överlag hade vi en fin vistelse på Maryhill. Fanns ett par saker som helt klart har förbättringspotential dock, tex så var vi 3 personer som bokat ett dubbelrum med extra säng och extrasängen var endast en madrass på golvet vilket kändes himla tråkigt. Det fanns inte heller någon hårtork på rummet, vilket man kan tycka borde vara standard på ett pool club hotell. "This was our second stay at this hotel. We had a Family room and it was huge - two separate bedrooms, a big sitting area, bathroom and nice balcony. The staff are great, facilities very good (pool, gym, games etc) and breakfast is good too. Overall an excellent and well-priced hotel that I would definitely recommend. "

"It was very clean. The breakfast was amazing, so many options. The staff were very nice. The beds are so very comfortable."

"I was late to check in due to a delayed flight so missed the staff however they were so useful on the phone and allowed me to check in late. They then checked I was okay the following morning. I was offered a fresh set of towels and a room clean mid way through my stay. Staff were very friendly throughout."
