It seems that the owners did not have the spirit to bring the old house to a modern standard but, in my impression, they even tried to emphasize its small inconveniences. "The host is friendly, she sent a welcome e-mail and instructions early and responded on questions quickly. The house is a few km out from Avesta on river bank, nice and quiet. One rents a one room + kitchen + shower/wc whereas there may be other guests renting other parts of the house.
