Excellent accommodation
A very comfortable and extremely well furnished house. Spacious rooms throughout. Nice touch with Christmas decorations and a small welcome hamper. Location is10 mins walk from town centre and 5 mins walk from Kings Park. You have to pay for street parking outside the house (not that much) , but one street away is free !

Another perfect stay at The Lindsay House
Thank you for another perfect stay at The Lindsay House! It is wonderful to have a "home away from home" and we are deeply appreciative of all the special and unexpected touches The Lindsay House offers. From booking to check-in, to our stay and finally our departure, every single step can be navigated with ease adn comfort. The Lindsay House is conveniently located and is in a beautiful area of Stirling. The House is generously appointed with everything you might need (and more!) and is kept to the highest standards. It is exceedingly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. We will stay at The Lindsay House again and again because we are made to feel so welcome and it is such a lovely home. We cannot recommend it enough!

Excellent location
Lovely apartment. Very clean and superbly equipped. Location excellent with several really good restaurants nearby. If we had one criticism it was the small step leading out of the hall. Very difficult to spot especially for my 90 year old mother. I know you mention it in the welcome pack, but I really think you need to put hazard tape down, or change the colour of the carpet at that point. My mother did have a fall, fortunately no damage done.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The Lindsay House is absolutely perfect!
Even with the highest expectations, The Lindsay House exceeds in every way! There are so many things to say about this beautiful home away from home. It is incredibly clean, comfortable in every way (beds and linens are high quality), thoughtfully decorated, generously stocked in ways I've not previously experienced in a vacation property, has charming gardens and a lovely porch, convenient location that allows for walking to many areas of Stirling, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, well-maintained and clean appliances...the list goes on and on. The directions for check-in, care, and use of the home and suggestions for enjoying Stirling are robust and generous. And, I cannot say enough about the property manager's kindness, patience, and availability for our questions and requests for help. Thank you, Carole, for the warmest of welcomes with fresh flowers and a few appreciated necessities in the refrigerator. I really cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at the Lindsay House! Our daughter is a student at University of Stirling and we will always choose Lindsay Houseb for our visits.

Lovely property, but maybe not accessible for all.
(Son of writing) The Lindsay House is a very well equipped, maintained and presented property to stay in. The rooms are all generously sized and well-furnished in a tastefully neutral style and it suited my elderly parents and I well for five nights. Even for an eighty-odd year old with a stick, Stirling itself is only about a fifteen-minute walk on foot away. Beware of several aspects of the access: first, it is, essentially, a basement flat – there are two short flights of stone steps down to the entrance from street level, which was manageable for ambulant elderly, but not ideal. Secondly, there is no on-site parking – bays in the street immediately outside are for residents only, although there is one nearby general space on the house side and many on the opposite side of the street, and they were never full during our stay. Stirling Council allows blue badge holders to park free, but anyone else must pay and display. Thirdly, there is a timetabled refuse/ recycling collection and you are expected to put the appropriate bins out on the appropriate day – which means hauling them up the steps; again, not ideal for the less able-bodied. The kitchen includes a tumble-dryer, but we noticed that only the drum filter was accessible (to clear fluff), the base filter was not, trapped behind the plinth – this may need reviewing by the building managers, for safety. The bathrooms are nicely done, although only one is ensuite with a bedroom. The underfloor heating in that ensuite was unfathomable. The general bathroom had a very grand freestanding bath, but the shower cubicle was a touch cramped. No real complaints, perfectly acceptable, well-located flat for a short stay.

We love The Lindsay House!
Our stay at The Lindsay House was perfect. We have stayed several times and always appreciate the generous and thoughtful extra touches. You won't find a kinder or more responsive (and patient!) property manager! We are so comfortable here - wonderful linens and beds and everything is so very clean and well-maintained. The location adds to the great experience. The Lindsay House is in a beautiful area of Stirling, close to incredible parks, historical sites, and public transportation. We cannot say enough about our stay and love having "a home away from home". THANK YOU!

Another wonderful stay at The Lindsay House
We cannot say enough about our stay at The Lindsay House! My daughter is a student at the University and I visit twice each year. For the last two years, I have booked at The Lindsay House and it always exceeds our expectations. The Lindsay House is extremely clean and generously stocked. The linens are immaculate and high quality. The living room is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the garden. The Lindsay House is conveniently located and we enjoy walking all over Stirling. We truly don't have a single suggestion for how any part of our stay could be better. We are deeply appreciative to the owners and property manager for going above and beyond to make The Lindsay House a home away from home!

Lindsay House in Stirling is great !
Very nice rental in Stirling with everything you would need. We loved our stay there and would come back again for sure. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the sofa and chair in the TV room to be a bit more comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us !

THE VERY BEST OF THE BEST
Wow, wow, WOW ... what a wonderful apartment. The only reason I have given a 5 Star review is because there's no facility to give it a 10 Star review!! We were welcomed with fresh flowers, milk, bread, juice and croissants. Large rooms with tall ceilings, the apartment oozes character in a clearly upmarket area. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, warm and spacious, the apartment is perfectly situated for the town (5 mins walk), the railway station (7 mins walk) and all the delights Stirling, as the gateway to Scotland, has to offer. The apartment also offers a relaxing conservatory and a secluded, enclosed private garden, perfect for enjoying morning coffee and those croissants. We took the train to Edinburgh one day (45 mins), next day to Glasgow (20 mins). We took the Stirling sightseeing tour bus another day, stopping at the castle, a 'must' for interest and history. Lots of great shopping and restaurants in Stirling, neighbours and locals were all delightful. Everything was beyond perfect. Can't wait to return.
