Newly modernised and tastefully decorated, this two-bedroom, one-bathroom, lower garden conversion of a Victorian Villa, offers a perfect retreat after a busy day's sightseeing in the local area with off-street parking for one car and a Courtyard garden.

Accessed down a flight of original stone steps, the one-level accommodation comprises a Living room with an original fireplace and table and seating for 4 people, two large double bedrooms one of which has the flexibility of being either a zip-and-link super king size or two single beds, bathroom with over bath shower and a modern kitchen with washing machine dishwasher and full-size fridge freezer.

Many restaurants, bars and shops are within a 10-minute walk as well as the train station with direct access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Stirling City centre is 3 miles away with frequent bus and train services on offer.

With the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park both being only a short drive away you will not be disappointed by the wealth of beautiful scenery in the area.

Closer to home, the main street in Bridge of Allan, Henderson Street, has an abundance of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Comfortable Stay
The Allan Stream Apartment was a perfect place for us to base our holiday. It is peaceful setting and just a short walk to the shops/restaurants in Bridge Of Allan. The beds were comfortable and the apartment has all the amenities that made our stay comfortable, including washer/dryer, wifi, etc.

Wonderful!
We had the good fortune to stay here for 3 nights at the end of May. The apartments was in a perfect location, walking distance to town and many restaurants. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, just as described. We would most definitely stay again!

Cozy and comfortable aparment
We had a great stay at the apartment in Bridge of Allam! It was very comfortable and cozy, and the location was convenient. The only downside was the need for a car, and we missed having a coffee maker. Overall, it was clean and comfortable.

Awesome view of the Wallace Monument
You have a picturesque view of the Wallace Monument from the driveway of the property. The flat was clean and well cared for very quiet. If you’re someone who doesn’t want any street noise an likes privacy this is your kind of place. The house manager was professional and attentive. The family had a great stay.

An ideal pied a terre to visit Stirling and surrounding area!
We chose Allanstream as we wanted to be within walking distance of the village centre and the university and it is ideal for this (a bit further from the station though, if that is important to you). It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with all basic essential (including tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk) which made things very straightforward. The location is very quiet, despite there being several flats in the building. A few little niggles (e.g. instructions not quite up to date), but pretty much faultless!

Enjoyable but could be improved.
In many ways the apartment was very good: it was spacious, clean, the bed and linen were of good quality. The Wi-Fi was excellent! The surrounding area was very pleasant. However, a few items could be improved to match the above qualities: the cutlery and kitchen knives were basic; the bathroom basin plug didn’t work; there should be cushions on the sofas. The steps down to the apartment were not good enough for anyone with mobility issues. Given the unseasonal chilly weather, we found the apartment a little chilly, despite the radiators being on. Liaison with the property agent was good, which was useful in that the instructions were in several aspects out of date and rather misleading. I understand these are being updated.

Great location
The spacious and comfortable apartment is conveniently situated in a very pleasant area of Bridge of Allan. We really liked that there is lots to do without driving. The train station with connection to Glasgow and Edinburgh is within walking distance. Also there is walking in the nearby Ochils, to the Wallace monument etc. With a car you can easily get to the Trossachs, Ben Ledi etc.

Recent stay in Bridge of Allan
We stayed for 6 nights in this comfortable basement 2 bedroomed apartment. Very quiet. Off rd parking. Perhaps needs a bit of TLC and a lick of paint in places. Very helpful lady called Carol at the management company sorted out a couple of minor problems. A pleasant stay...and the sun shone too.

Allan Stream apartment
Stayed here for 7 weeks while my house was renovated following a flood in the loft which brought down 4 ceilings. The apartment was cosy, comfortable, spacious and with lots of storage space. Despite the fact that it's a garden apartment, the huge windows let in loads of light and beautiful skyscapes.. Hugely comfortable king & super king beds.. thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Home Comforts in Bridge or Allen
The accommodation was excellent and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and, as someone who finds it hard to sleep in strange beds, I had no problems dropping off quickly. The house was very well equipped for our week. Cutlery, crockery etc... all there. Tea and coffee facilities were adequate. And the kitchen was fitted out with every mod con needed. The house was comfortable and clean and very accommodating for our needs. We needed access to the University Campus, and being only a 15 min walk way it was ideal. The surrounding area was very quiet and quite luxurious. So walking home late at night was never a problem. Safe feeling area indeed. Overall a lovely experience. We had a couple of issues regarding the bathroom which were never resolved during our stay (shower not very hot, bath not draining properly and some fixture and fittings not a fixed to the wall properly), but overall our stay was extremely comfortable and pleasant. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and colleagues.

Disappointing stay
The most frustrating part of the stay was when we arrived at check in time there was no key in the box. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to show up with a key to let us in and we had groceries thawing out in the car. The apartment is really a basement apartment with windows in a well in the ground. It was deeper in the ground than I expected from the pictures. As such the apartment smelled dank. The furniture in the living room was old, dinged up and the seats on the sofa were very poor. The stuffing was worn out. The beds were OK fortunately. The kitchen was nice enough except that it was very difficult to get into the refrigerator the way the door opened and the fact that the trash can was in front of it as was the door out of the kitchen. The bathroom felt dirty to me, but I know it had been cleaned. It was just old except for the tub enclosure. The shower head was weak. But I am from the United States so I am used to better shower heads. It was nice to have both a washer and dryer, but it would have been nice to be told the the dryer was behind baby furniture in a closet. We didn't realize it was there at first. The first night we froze to death because the heat wasn't running and the book indicated that the water for the heat and the hot water was always turned on and that you controlled it from the individual radiators. Nothing mentioned that to get the heat to run you had to turn the unit on inside another closet. Which we found after hunting around. Once we did that, we were fine. It was a very nice neighborhood and we enjoyed walks around the neighborhood after dinner.

Great!
We had a great time, lovely house, beautiful neighbourhood, woods behind te house, close to a co-op for our groceries and all that is nice with a one-year-old! Stunning walking paths in the highlands after a short car drive. Bit disapointed that the fireplace wasn't working, but nevertheless a great holiday! Thank you.

Great location!

Tranquility and comfort for Stirling

Short Stay For Sons Graduation
Myself, wife and daughter stayed in the Allan stream apartment for our son’s graduation from Stirling. This is a fantastic two-bedroom flat that is beautifully and thoughtfully presented. We arrived in a rainstorm and found the flat gloriously warm and welcoming. The addition of milk in the fridge with tea bags and sugar made this tea addicted family even happier. The flat is in a fantastic position on a lovely quiet road within easy reach of local pubs, restaurants and shops and it’s a pity we only discovered this gem of a holiday let at his graduation.
