"Really beautiful Gloucestershire..oldy world style property...nicely modernised....however....bathroom needed a bit more attention....radiator rusty and looking tatty...cracks in the plaster...actually the cracks are good..totally an age thing..so I am saying thats a positive!!!!.The loo seat was well loose though.... had a fab evening meal...great food .....great cooking....and great service..Anna is an absolute star here...introduced me to my room.... served dinner...a fabulous, attentive ,...

"Very friendly personal welcome - very personal touches - definitely worth staying - very rural. Definitely value for money and with a shared bathroom (there was 2 between 4 rooms getting access to a bathroom was never an issue). Would definitely stay again."

"The place looked like it shouldn’t have been open. There was no one on the front desk. We waited around for 30min couldn’t find anyone. So we moved on and found a much better place "

"Absolutely loved this luxury guest house! Full of history, clean and we didn’t have to ask for anything as it was already there! The breakfast was fantastic and Christopher the host is brilliant! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again 👌👌❤️❤️"

"Very helpful remote staff and easy to locate. Room was small and had a nice large window and comfortable bed. Great to have a kitchenette and place to make food and tea/coffee. Bathroom was not clean or easy to access at times since it was in the apartment hallway. Shower did not provide consistent hot water so we didn’t get to shower each day which was a disappointment. Maybe provide some hand sanitizer, hand towels and instructions for how to use the shower’s water heater unit? Thank you so...

"I was lead to believe (from hotels.com presentation) I had a cabin with a private hot tub, and would therefore expect an en-suite. I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. "Very clean, great breakfast and good service. My main issue was the water heater in the bedroom. When it went off it was like a jet engine mainly late evening but at times through the night and for around an hour at 6am. I was in room 5 so if a light sleeper do not have that room. "
