"I was looking for a quiet location to spend some quality time with my best friend before she moved away. The cabin was perfect! It's ideally suited for a family with the lake and outdoor spaces, but the cabin provided a cozy atmosphere for two friends to recall memories and giggle to our hearts were content. "I'll echo what every other great review has shared...this is a perfect little woodsy getaway! We walked in to a super, super clean, fresh smelling place. As a lot of review shared, there were decorations - and we were here for a little spring break stay-cation and enjoyed the April Easter decorations! Just adorable! The place truly has everything you need for a short stay - including tp, paper towels, cooking supplies, towels for the shower and hot tub (bring shampoo and soap for the shower). The hot tub was super clean, easy to use and temperature was easy to adjust! The back porch area was super peaceful, as was the front porch. There are not a lot of photos of the property, but there are steep hills all around - so not a lot of flat area and bring camping chairs if you want to sit around the fire pit (there is also a picnic table near the pit). There are stairs up to the loft area where you will see both beds - and a fan for temp comfort. Communication with the owner was wonderful and please, please book this place if you are looking for a place to unwind with total silence and beautiful scenery! :) "

"Me and my wife came to unplug and spend time alone, and this place provided just that: very comfortable location for 2 people, off the grid, but very close to New Philadelphia. The container home is beautiful and very comfortable, the hot tub is perfect and we lit the bonfire and watched the flames melt all the worries away. Awesome relaxing experience. "

"Doug and Jennifer were wonderful hosts! Answered all of our questions within minutes.The farmhouse was just as described...My mom loved reminiscing about times past in this historic farmhouse. We loved shopping at nearby Amish country and celebrating her 85th Birthday! My husband and son enjoyed the lake and caught many catch and release fish! Quiet setting, not a sole in sight. We look forward to coming back! "
