"Caley was perfect for our short break, our suite was an ideal layout for our family. Our dogs were welcomed and comfortable, and there were two dog biscuits and a dog towlel in our room on arrival, such a lovely touch for dog owners. We would definitely stay here again or recommend."

"Never disappointed when we stay. This is our fourth stay and have had a different room each time and apart from the layout being different it has always been the same excellent quality. And the excellence doesn’t stop at the room, it continues on to the food. Both the evening meal and breakfast were as good as we remembered. The quality is excellent which is probably down to the local suppliers and the chefs should be congratulated on their cooking of the meals. I would recommend a stay here so much that my wife wants to return the birthday favour by booking another night for my birthday. "

"The Dabbling Duck exceeded our expectations in all respects. We were shown into our beautiful room in the house adjacent to the inn. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large sofa as well as king size bed. Our en suite bathroom was bigger than many hotel rooms we have stayed in and far more luxuriously appointed. Dinner in the inn was great - excellent service and good choices and breakfast also first class. The location was good for visiting nearby National Trust and English Heritage places as well as the North Norfolk coast."

"Thoroughly unique, very pleasant experience. Beautifully presented with high quality decor, comfortable bed and a superb, modern en-suite. We wondered what the Continental Breakfast would offer and it was very, very good. Not just a bowl of cereal. Lots of choice including fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants and a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. The entry system into the building works well and is easily accessed and means that you can let yourself in at any time after 3pm without having to fix a time with the staff. We met our host at breakfast and she was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. We would certainly consider staying again and recommend it to others."

"We were looking for a quiet, comfortable spot for a few days to unwind. The Dales fit the bill perfectly. The location is such that whilst the hotel is in the heart of the countryside, it is also close to many Norfolk attractions and holiday spots. The staff were professional, attentive and personable. For us, there was everything to like about this hotel."
