"We spent a lovely week in Frogapits, despite it raining every day! The cottage is fantastic, centrally located to local pubs and restaurants, and within easy travel to many local attractions. Beautiful garden and really enjoyed the wood log burner for cozy evenings in."

"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. "Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from."

"This is a delightful property and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our grandsons (aged 7 and 11) and were able to show them quite a lot of Devon. A big success was the heated swimming pool which they loved as well as the trampoline etc. Everything was great in the cottage and everything we needed. If fast broadband is a must you might struggle as with many rural areas it isn’t fast. However we highly recommend this property."

"We had a great Christmas week staying at the cottage. The cottage was cosy with the log burner and provided for a very comfortable stay. The split of bedrooms worked well for us, we stayed on the top floor with my wife's family on the bottom. There's a large well stocked Kitchen with a big table for us all to sit round. Large glass windows from the Kitchen looking out to the rear and across the hills provided a nice relaxing spot to sit back and enjoy a coffee. Our daughter enjoyed the swing and...

"Fern cottage is a lovely little cottage. It’s let down by not being cleaned throughly. The cottage stank of dogs wee, the mop was disgusting and unfit to use. The kitchen work surfaces could do with being oiled as they are wooden and due for a good clean. Upstairs was clean, beds and bedding clean and fresh. However both bathrooms were not so I had to give them a good clean myself. Fern cottage could be really lovely with a competent cleaner and a lick of paint in the kitchen. Despite all this...

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage being 5 adults and plenty of room but may of been a bit pushed if 6 for sitting room but perfect for us. It's a bit way out on single track road and at first was a bit worried about but found perfectly ok by end of holiday. Kitchen was lovely only downside but it didn't affect us a very small ice compartment but luckily we didn't get much frozen food . There are some steep stairs but a great hand rail so not a problem but worth mentioning if you have mobility...
