"Reception gave us no information on timings for breakfast or spa. No spoons in room so we went and bought our own. No information in room about restaurant or spa treatments."

"The hotel is very nice. The food in Harry's was lovely and very good value for money. My only complaint would be the breakfast. The food was nice, however the serving station was obviously not big enough for the number of people staying as it was constantly running out of items leaving people waiting and their breakfasts getting cold, as was mine. The area where the toaster and drinks machine is very badly set up, causing a constant bottleneck, with no orderly queue. I think the serving areas...

"We had stayed there before, when we arrived the heating in our room didn’t work but the lovely receptionist sorted us out with a fan heater for the second night. Bit disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned at all for our 2nd night ( just emptying the bins would have been nice!) Another area for improvement would be to fix the massive potholes at the entrance of the car park… but the location is great and the staff are really lovely!"

"The rooms need updating. We had many maintenance issues which were not resolved, although the staff was very friendly and supportive. Example: shower too hot and cannot be mixed to cool. Taps lose. TV not working properly. Internet weak. Cupboard door stuck."

"Friendly reception staff, easy check in/out. Room was clean, with eco toiletries but room was looking tired. Breakfast service was very good, as was the breakfast. No fresh coffee, it was an automatic machine with UHT milk. Lovely view of the golf course at breakfast time, shame about the dirty windows. We used the restaurant in the evening, a service charge is added, not sure what for, as a waiter took our order, food served, no check to see if the meal was ok, left to our own devices, an...
