Stevensweert is uniquely situated, like an 'Island in the Meuse'. Originally a fortified town, this village surprises with its characteristic street pattern. Its greatest charm? The beautiful village centre itself.

A must-see is the imposing Hompesche Molen from 1722: a tower mill that has proudly stood the test of time. For a day of shopping, visit nearby Echt or Maaseik in Belgium. And for bargain hunters, it's only a 15-minute journey to Maasmechelen Village Outlet.
