"We actually were traveling with friends to Niagara on the lake. By staying in Niagara Falls, we saved a lot of money and just drove the 20 minutes back-and-forth. If you were just focused on the Falls, this location is perfect. You could actually walk down to the Falls, or the base of Clifton Hill. The neighborhood looks iffy, but when we pulled up to the house, a neighbor was working on her garden and assured us that the area was safe. "Close to it all without being stuck in a hotel room and has enough off-street parking for at least 3 vehicles. Property could use some updates (shower doesn’t drain well, living/dining room are super dated) and a couple basic amenities (full sized trash/recycling in the kitchen, access to refuse bins outside) but if you’re planning to be out most of the day this is a really nice home base with FREE parking within walkable distance or via cheap Uber ride.
