" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. Close to anything you might need.However, there was no disclaimer at the time of our booking, that the living quarters and what not are all 2nd story, and require a lot of steps up and down. It was just fine for our family, but may be difficult for older folks. "

"When we walked into your cabin, we were just amazed, how beautiful and peaceful it was there. We just loved all the photos of the fish and decorations in the cabin and lures. "We had a relaxing and fun winter vacation in this lovely home! Our extended family gathered for the holidays and were greeted with a festive tree and twinkling lights — so wonderful! We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and big family table (for meals, games and puzzles). This is a perfect spot for everyone to have time together, as well as time apart (nice bedrooms for restful nights). Thank you! "

"Needed a place where I could unplug and enjoy nature with my dog and the cabin totally had that!!! The cabin was clean and had everything one needed for relaxing. Lots of deer in the apple orchard. Welcome basket with wine and other goodies was a really nice touch and the wood burning stove was already started for me! I will be back"

"We had a wonderful visit as a family. We had the best of both worlds, being secluded in a private wooded area but conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Our host was phenomenal and unexpected upgraded us to a newer property due to miscommunication on his end with cleaning the cabin we were originally supposed to stay in. Would absolutely stay in this area again! "

"The loft accommodations and amenities were very well planned and comfortable for the small space The porch and many lawn seating areas were all perfect to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, frog calls and multiple varieties of birds calls. Favorite sighting was the Green Heron that hung out on a branch just off the dock.We enjoyed the well groomed walking trails that follow the shoreline. The river is a quick paddle away.
