Hatch Life 204- this lovely 3 story cottage has lots of upgrades like wood floors throughout the downstairs, granite countertops, a fully equipped kitchen that opens to the living and dining areas that is perfect for large gatherings and entertaining. There is an electric double reclining sofa, an electric double reclining loveseat and an electric recliner in the living room. The house has 2 master suites and comfortably sleeps 14 with plenty of room for a couple of blow up mattresses. The downstairs master bedroom has a king sized bed with a private balcony while the upstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed along with a private balcony. There is a queen and a full bed in the third bedroom with another balcony. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. There are 2 full bunk beds in the loft area along with a couch. The additional lot next door is a large courtyard garden with a picnic table, grill area, and hammock that goes with the house. The lot could easily accommodate a small wedding. The house is just a short walk to the river and is located between the playground and a 55ft community pool and across from the boat/trailer overflow lot (typically plenty of parking). You can enjoy all the community amenities. You can sit on your front porch and watch your children at the playground(35 feet away), also included are things such as the petting zoo, for the boaters -first come first serve boat docking complete with electric and water even a fish and scallop cleaning station, adults only sauna & hot tub, volleyball court, tennis court, ping pong, shuffleboard, game room & archery range. The wedding chapel and conference center are available for rent from the landing along with canoes, kayaks, bikes, archery and shuffleboard equipment. We do not provide Wi-Fi.
The community is also golf cart friendly. We have cornhole boards and bags underneath house, so get your game on. We also have a bait freezer below the house for your catch, bait and ice. The four seater gas golf cart is available at an additional $65 a day. Steinhatchee is known for its scalloping during the summer months (please make your reservation early to guarantee your spot) scallop season is typically open June 15th through September 1st. Fishing is fantastic year round whether you are chasing grouper, snapper, redfish or trout.
