"The guesthouse was brilliant, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was a big bonus. It’s essentially a converted old-school so it has a lot of history and charm. When we arrived, we were given a room that had a defective furnace, so the room was always heating. After speaking with the front desk, they instantly changed us rooms without hesitation. Super awesome, very friendly people would definitely recommend. "

"This was exactly as described. My sister and I shared a double twin bed room with shared bathroom. We never dealt with unclean bathrooms and showers were readily available despite plenty of other guests. The decor was charming and heart felt and the common space was comfortable and inviting. The surrounding area was gorgeous and we got to see the northern lights in the pitch black of the countryside, just hearing the sheep bleeting at us and ocean waves crashing behind them. "

"Quaint little guesthouse! The stairs are very narrow so moving luggage is a bit difficult but the location is great. We stayed 2 nights and the radiator in the bedroom wasn’t working but the property managers left a couple of beers for us knowing that they are still renovating and it was warm enough with just the one radiator. Would stay again! "

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "

"Good points. The host communicated well prior to our arrival .he met us promptly and was very pleasant and helpful .bed was comfortable enough. Bad points.the house was very dilapidated, in very bad condition externally which gives a bad first impression .lots of flies around. Room very stark, nothing cosy. Shared bathroom not in good state of repair, pedal bin in bathroom full to the brim with sanitary towels, clearly not emptied in quite a number of days. Very overpriced ."

"We really enjoyed our stay- a quick overnight - and we would have enjoyed staying longer but we had to move on. I appreciated the large room, with amenities-- the ability to cook and have a dinner and breakfast "in" and the opportunity to enjoy the hot tub after driving, cooking and dinner. Communication was very good and I am sure if we had been able to stay longer- we would have enjoyed the sites close to the lodging and had an even nicer stay. Highly recommend."

"First of all, I had read the reviews about getting a hold of the owner to get your pin code and room and anticipated some difficulty doing the same. They had two numbers listed on the wall outside. I couldn't find a free phone to use, but I was able to message the 2nd number on Whatsapp and get an immediate response (I tried to call the number a few times and didn't get an answer so messaging them was the way to go).
