"Beautiful scenery of the mountains and fall leaves. The fall colors were everywhere we drove or looked. Very peaceful no traffic sounds while swinging on the porch swing. Loved the history of the place too. A must for people wanting a break from the rat race. "

"Peaceful location about 1/2 mile from the main road with very little road noise. Really , the only noise was from the cattle in the field across the road. Property is as listed and convenient to Monticello and Beaver Creek Marina. Lots of boat trailer parking."

"This was a mid winter stay. We just wanted some private time together. So we didn't do a lot of things we would have in warmer weather. That fire pit looks like a lots of fun. The porch is lovely, but it's cold while we're here. Love that we can see and hear the the river. The hosts are phenomenal. Good information and a relaxed check in and check out times. "

"We enjoyed sitting on the screened-in patio overlooking the river watching the falling leaves float to the ground. Watched a group of 15 wild turkeys make the way way past the property. their wwa"

"My wife and I stayed at this house with our dog over New Year’s Eve. It was so cozy, relaxing, and the perfect getaway for our family. The hot tub was great and we loved hiking at the Boone National Forest which was only about 20 minutes from the house. We will definitely be coming back in the future. "
