Designed as the ultimate getaway spot for couples and families, this unit has great quality throughout and a very convenient location at the base of the Steamboat Resort. You'll enjoy the ski in, walk out location and in summer, the ski in access turns into hiking and biking access. The national forest is right out your door! In any season, guests will love how easy it is to walk anywhere in the mountain village. Not only is this a great location, but there are many extra benefits found in this particular unit. For example, the owners have provided the unit with a complimentary pack'n'play and a highchair, to make family travel that much easier. They've added a Roku with streaming services, in addition to the cable TV channels. This condo features hardwood floors throughout, fine furnishings & linens, and a beautiful custom kitchen that surpasses other 1-Bedrooms. All furniture, appliances, and materials are updated and well maintained with upgraded amenities. The condo also has a private washer and dryer! With new owners, this unit has been spruced up in the few places. For example, in 2019, the existing leather sofa was replaced with a brand new, exceptionally comfortable sleeper sofa to help accommodate a 3rd or 4th guest. Another treat is that this condo has a bathroom that features a dual headed walk in steam shower!
More on the location, which is very convenient. You can ski literally right back to the building. This is beginner level ski in access! To ski out, you just walk down some steps, across a quiet private street, down another flight of steps, and right in front of you is the "Right O Way" ski trail. This is a beginner level ski trail that leads directly to the Gondola, ski school, and ticket office. From this condo, it is an easy 2-minute walk on a heated snow free sidewalk to the shops, dining, and bars of Ski Time Square and Torian Plum Plaza. With the heated promenade wrapping around the base area slopes from Torian Plum Plaza to the Gondola and beyond, you'll find it very easy to explore the base area's many shops & restaurants. Exploring the rest of town is also pretty easy. The free city bus picks up year round right in Ski Time Square!
Additional benefits of staying here include a reserved parking space, private covered balcony with western exposure and sunset views, and of course, free wifi. The building has a very large hot tub and laundry machines as well as vending. There is an elevator to the level of this condo, but stairs are required to access the building and areas around the building, such as the hot tub. Please note, trailers are not normally allowed. If you have one, please contact us before booking to discuss if it can be accommodated on site. If not, then we have a list of options for off site trailer parking.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.
