"A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. Massimo is a superb host and is exceptionally welcoming and very friendly, providing good local information. "Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."

"We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. However, we seemed to be the only people staying and the owner disappeared for the remainder of the day. Doors were locked and we had to figure out neither the restaurant or bar were open. "We only booked this hotel for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a gorgeous vineyard and is a great place for families and couples- there is a beautiful pool but what stands out besides a great Room with luscious sheets and views looking at amy Etna is the hospitality of the staff. We had a delicious dinner which was outstanding."

"A real agriturismo, with 1000 olive trees and 2000 orange trees. It's a well kept place, well maintained garden, a big swimming pool. Host speaks very good English. Everyone is very nice and heplfull in every way you need. We stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to visit Etna, Siracuza and of course also Gryfindor pub, which is just 20 minutes ahead. "

"At first we were a bit worried as we couldn't find the hotel in the sat nav, but then after we put in the coordinates we found on google maps, we found the gorgeous, serene and peaceful Ai Vecchi Crateri Hotel! "Posto da evitare. Innanzitutto segnalo che NON è un agriturismo ma un casermone decadente alla periferia di Paternò. Nonostante le foto siano vere, di presenza è tutta un'altra cosa! Eravamo di passaggio e abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte per fortuna! La nostra stanza comunicava attraverso una porta da interni chiusa a chiave, con un'altra camera da cui si sentiva ogni singola parola e rumore. Dal bagno puzza di scarichi. I letti dei bambini non letti singoli, ma ricavati da divano...
