"We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the beautiful rooms, the stunning spa, the delicious and generous breakfast, and the spectacular surrounds. We felt totally spoilt for our stay. We parked about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, in a parking building (€1 per hour), which was handy enough to the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"This property deserves a big thumbs up. Cave rooms were very well designed with a lot of attention to detail (lights, candles, custom shower gels). Breakfast was one of the best I had recently with a lot of local cheese and fruits instead of banal buffet items. Ricotta was simply amazing. Staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. The only recommendation I would give is that since each room is unique I would put each room and its images separately instead of room category. "

"It was a good property but it was the wrong time of year to be there. It is a seaside resort and it would be better to be there when it was warmer. The resort was too far from Monopoli for us and cost 25 euros for a cab. "

"Staff were pleasant and room was lovely. Not all features advertised were available- there was no swim up bar, no pool service without going into the bar- where you are not supposed to go in swimwear, the restaurant was closed in the evening and the cafe closed at 5.30 so the only fiod option after 5.30 was to wait 2 hours and pay 35 euro per person for a buffet dinner, or go out of the hotel which required a shuttle or taxi. Also i felt that charging 10 euro per person per day for shuttle use...

"This is a lovely hotel, beautifully renovated. I was very impressed. My room was large and comfy with amazingly high ceilings. The staff were helpful and friendly. This hotel is at the heart of Monopoli in the best position on the central square in the old town. The sea is one minute away. "

"This is a unique property right on the water in the old town of Monopoli. We just came at a bad time of year when the restaurant was shut as were many of the businesses in town. It never stopped raining and it felt like the ocean waves might come rugbt in the room. I would definitely go again when the weather is warmer"

"It is really a superb hotel. In Matera to be able to sleep in a room "cave" is quite special. The room #5 is large and had everything we needed except a big mirror. The only one was a small square one in the open bathroom above the lavabo and the lighthening was more romantic then useful there! I know it is not the same in every room as every room has a special design and decoration. The reception and the breakfast room are also beautiful. We loved the big terrasse where we could enjoy the sun...

"Had an amazing stay staff went over and above to help with a recommendation for local restaurants etc . The manager Alessandro was on site checking with guests to ensure they were ok. Only negative being off season the breakfast service could be slow ( maybe better to have coffee machines rather than individual orders) . Many Thanks for a wonderful week. "

"Mario has been helping us to navigate around the town and book transfer for us. He addresses us with our names and makes us feels like home in this old ancient city. We love our stay in Cenobio and the room is fantastic and clean. It's an experience to stay in a cave room"

"Did not have hot water they forgot to switch the water heater on we did not have hot water to shower in the morning and we had to check out in the morning "

"The We had a good experience with the stay however I didn’t realise (my own fault for not reading the listing properly) that you have to pay an additional fee for the spa and sauna use. We did pay an additional fee per person, per day which we thought was pretty expensive and on the second day we paid the spa was cold so we couldn’t really use it. Apart from this the property was beautiful and big for the kids to run around."
