You will love this new 4,000 square foot custom built vacation home, which sits on one acre lake view lot with forest park land all around it. The views are from all sides of the house and are truly breathtaking. The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. A Fine dining restaurant ' The Chart House is also closely located half way down the hill before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation. This home has it all! A large living room is open to a gourmet kitchen. This large entertainment area also have a pool table, a large wood burning fireplace, , and an entertainment center complete with digital cable, surround sound, and a DVD player. The house is also equipped with wireless broadband Internet access. You will truly enjoy the over-sized wrap-around decks off the main entertainment area and master bedroom which both have lake views.

In the master bedroom is its own get way with its own fireplace, a spa tub, an entertainment center, and its own private deck. There is another secluded deck with a large Jacuzzi tub and great view of the hillside and night time lights and a nice place to relax after a fun day of skiing or scenic hiking. The extra large basement is a great place for the kids to getaway and/or extra guests. It fells like its own apartment. The house was perfect for all our family to celebrate my 40th birthday together! There was plenty of space, the layout was great, amenities fantastic and super easy process. The Christmas tree was the best added touch and we had a weekend full of memories!

Tahoe Ski Trip
This house is less than a mile from 2 lifts at Heavenly. There were 9 of us staying and it fit us perfectly! Monte was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Stay
We had an amazing stay and were blown away by the views. The house itself was a perfect floor plan for our extended family across all floors. It is comfortable well equipped and conveniently located to get around south lake. We hope to be back!

60th wedding anniversary family get together
Be prepared for stairs. Other than that the home is perfect. Beautiful rooms and beautiful views from every window. We had ages starting at 35 and four over the age of 75. Even the elderly said the stairs were worth it. No regrets.

The house was great, as advertised. Secluded, but very convenient location. A few minute drive to the Heavenly Nevada lifts and just up the road from South Lake Tahoe downtown. Fit a group of 10 easily. Would book again.

Wedding Weekend
We stayed here for convenience to the venue next door, Tahoe Blue. Perfect location for attending my son’s wedding being held there. We had a group of family and friends stay and it all was perfect. The views are spectacular. The owner was very prompt in answering questions.

Great place to stay
We stayed here to go skiing at Heavenly and it was the perfect house for our group. Plenty of space for everyone, amazing kitchen to cook in, and gorgeous view of the lake. It's close to the Nevada side lifts for skiing and you can even walk to the local restaurant Fox & Hound. Communication with the host was easy and he continued to check in as a snow storm hit while we were there. Would definitely recommend this property!

The location is so peaceful. All the best amenities are included to enjoy the property. We loved the boat, Nintendo, hammocks etc. Hosts are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They made sure we felt welcomed and were available if needed.

Beautiful Mountain Home
We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful mountain home! It is off the beaten path (although easily accessible) with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake. The home itself is spacious and fully appointed. Our family and friends skied daily from the Stagecoach Lodge lift area, which is just over a mile from the home. I would highly recommend this lovely home to those desiring beautiful views, great skiing and a lovely environment in which to relax!

Beautiful view of the lake
We arrived around sunset, what an amazing view. Group of friends who haven’t seen each other in awhile, had a very peaceful few days in Tahoe. The house is spacious and beautiful. The views are incredible. A very short drive down into Tahoe and to the lake. We loved the experience

Perfect for large group
We celebrated an early Thanksgiving this year at Chateau de Monte. There were 7 adults and 6 kids in our group. The home was large enough and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and cook a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The location was perfect and there are nice views of the lake and places for the kids to sled.

Very beautiful house with a lot space, but it does need a little more cleaning specially in the kitchen, also the two pull out couch needs to be changed, specially the one on the basement bedroom, overall I would stay there again. Great communication with the owners. Love the surroundings.

Incredible Stay
This was a wonderful property. It offered all the amenities and the location was incredible. Our only issue was a rough check-in process due to lack of communication, but Monte was amazing and responsive. The home is great for a large group that wants to hit the slopes each day, enjoy large family meals in the spacious kitchen, and hang in the hot tub each night. We will definitely be back!

Great views - Nice house
I love the location of this home. It is close to everything but, in a quit nicer neighborhood. The lake views are nice too. The owner does an outstanding job communicating. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. I would encourage anyone who rents this home in the winter to have a 4WD vehicle. The roads are well plowed, but there are a couple of steeper sections (nothing too crazy).
