"I booked this for a family trip but then was unable to come myself but my husband and son found the property very comfortable, clean and well equipped. "We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink."

"There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a beautiful garden and plenty of room within the property. There were seven of us and didn't feel on top of each other. There are a few niggles, although I put them into the category of observations and not complaints. The bed in the 'very' large bedroom was very creaky, and is perhaps time for a new mattress. There was damp in the shower room, although it is the end of the season. There were used pots of honey on the dining table that I think should have...

"Great hotel in a convenient location within Nottingham, not far from City Centre. Close to the M1, was really easy to find. Free parking was a massive plus, with loads of bays both at the front and back of the hotel. Check in was very straightforward and was also offered an Digital Keycard to access my room from the Hilton App. The room was very clean and tidy with sufficient amenities. Only criticism here is, it would have been nice to have some free bottled water in the room on arrival. Housekeeping was really on top of it and kept our room pristine during our stay, replacing bedding and towels etc. Would definitely stay here again. "

Great stay with added extras!

"Really great service, quick and easy check in. Upon booking I added a note to say it was my partners birthday and we got into the room to see balloons, birthday messages written on the mirror and some drinks waiting for us, really great touch! Spacious and comfortable. Carpet probably could do with a deep clean or replacing but didn't bother us, other than that it was super clean and comfortable beds and pillows. "
