"The hotel is located in a very central area, making walking to the main attractions very easy. The hotel facilities were average and good for a cheap stay but no kettle or fridge etc. Staff were polite and friendly but the biggest let down was the thin room walls which meant we could hear conversations and snoring from other rooms. "Good sized family room with 2 double beds. Very clean and smart. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks available at the bar. We didn't have breakfast, but it is on offer, with kids eating free per paying adult. A short walk away was a selection of restaurants for dinner. There appeared to be a range to suit all budgets/tastes, but we went cheap and cheerful at Pizza Royal (which I'd recommend). The car ferry terminal was only a 5-10 minute drive away, so the hotel was great...

"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. It was quite small but was enough for 2 adults & a teen. Parking was included & the car was outside the apartment so easy access & secure. Fabulous communication and easy access to keys etc and we were given entry 2 hrs...
