Birthday Get Away
It was a very nice, clean and cute cabin! 16 minutes away from a town/kroger lol! A quick drive to Red River Gorge. The little road up to the cabin was a little rough but both my mini SUV and my friends car made it up with no problems! 10/10 would totally stay here again!

Family Mountain Getaway
This was our family’a first visit to the area. The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for our family of four. We hiked daily, shopped locally, ate delicious food, and came back to our cozy cabin. We played lots of board games, watched movies, enjoyed the hot tub. It was the percent winter reset. Thanks so much for everything.

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about our stay at Mountain Spirit! The cabin was clean, well kept, and fully stocked with any and all supplies we needed during our stay (kitchen/cooking supplies, tons of blankets, and all necessary household items). We brought our two dogs and they loved the cabin as much as we did! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub nightly after hiking all day and had a fire in the fire pit out back the last night. We loved how quiet and serene the area was surrounding the cabin and how it was just a short drive to all local attractions/hiking spots. We can’t wait to return for another visit!

Great secluded cabin still close to area attractions
We loved our stay at the cabin. It was nicely located tucked in the woods but still only 15-20 min from area attractions. We were able to take advantage of the clean kitchen, and bed & baths were also welcoming. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Gorge Cabin!
This was the perfect last minute gorge trip with the most perfect cabin! 10 minutes from just about everything you would want to visit made it the ideal location too! The cabin was clean, comfortable, cozy and exactly how it was described and pictured! The gorge experience, however, is one that pictures don’t do justice! We would most definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving get away
The cabin was very nice. We loved the outside balcony. Very convenient to the gorge. The kitchen was well equipped maybe some wine glasses would be nice. The hot tub was enjoyable. We just had to dig out some hair. Lol Not to big of a deal. I would have left the place a little cleaner but couldn’t find a pan or broom. Kristen was very nice and responded to our questions quickly. Thanks

Cozy Cabin in the Woods
This was a beautiful property with a cozy, little cabin, built on the side of a hill. I was a little concerned with the single lane, gravel, access road that was needed to get up and down the hill, but we managed just fine. Once there, the cabin was perfect for the four of us – not too big not too small. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cooking ware, etc. A perfect spot for your next trip to RRG. Our thanks to the owners for a wonderful time!

The driveway
There was moss on the pavement which caused my buddy to have a wreck on his motorcycle. Also there was no notice that the drive switched to gravel straight up the side of the mountain . Wouldnt advise anyone to take there motorcycle up even though I made it . It was very risky .

poor service
We arrived to see where our cabin was located a little early. Well had we known we needed a 4x4 to get up the hill, where the lady at the desk said the road was closed with signs posted which there wasnt, we wouldnt have got stuck. They should post at the top of the listing that a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is requested (I left my Jeep Wrangler at home) instead of the bottom of the listing. The lady in the office just gave us a number for a tow truck that was going to cost us $150 to get unstuck because they dont have a ground keeper. Good thing there was a couple that helped us get out in the cabin going up the hill. The hot tub was at 74 when we arrived. We was told to take the top off of it. By the time we went to bed, it was only at 90. The water in the cabin wasnt hot enough to take a shower or bath in. The downstairs tub wouldnt plug to take a bath because the stopper wouldnt move. The shower wouldnt stay on when you pulled the lever up to turn on the shower either. So that bathtub is a total waste of space. I could go on but I will stop there. I am not a happy occupant of this location at all. We spent almost $900 to stay in this cabin and had so many issues. I am less than happy with this cabin rental place. Not to mention, I have stayed in several cabins and was never asked to put the sheets from the beds used in the washer before we left. I could have stayed home and washed my own sheets for the $900 we spent on a poorly kept cabin rental place. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS PLACE!!

Just ok
Overall this was a nice location, but the water never got hot for showers, the thermostat wasn’t able to be changed so we only had the option of choosing heat or cool, which resulted in the cabin being either freezing or over 80 degrees. There was also hair in the hot tub before we’d even gotten in it, and overall didn’t feel super clean. We aren’t picky at all, but for the price, this place was just ok.
